It started off well….brought in a treat for all…mini candy bar variety pack..3 bags…then off to work the floor…

The day went well…pretty fast and then about 9:30 my supervisor…Bobby…decides to do a “AUDIT” on me …he will stand with me for 2 “TURNS” or dealer orders…then he critiques on  how I did…well that went pretty good too…I used my basket , did my sequencing like I was told, to save time’ and parts were all picked correctly and labels attached correctly …the only thing he could find was that I didnt use a card, that you scan for each order ….I do it manually…easier than pulling the card out of my pocket to scan…any way he then brought out my performance graf for last week…a very slow week…I came out low in how many turns/orders I did per hour…told him something is wrong, as I do work the same and even into mybreak to finish the Aisle I was in..said I didnt want to comment , as that at times is the best…he proceeded to follow me after I crumbled this paper, which is our’s to keep and threw it away…He then said  to me that I REALLY need to “out do” myself this week and that this is serious and that the rest of the department is “carrying” me!!!!! Welll that just set me off as I am doing what I can and I am not a’sandbagger’…and and and and and…..so in getting my next order and going to the aisles to fill it, a girl said how did it go. and that I  didnt look to happy and I commented that I can NEVER get a “good job” from him …he always needs to find something and then someone else made a comment and I replied, that maybe my performance was do to taking of 1/2 day last week and not working to the end picking parts instead helping others/cleaning up bins etc…then HE/Bobby came down my aisle and said “Diane You’re on Notice”  and that he will let my committee man know..he didnt tell me why I was put on notice, but found out later…because I interupted others…I knew not to say anything to him , as that would be a definite “On notice ” kind of a thing…

So this all happened between 1O:30 to 11:30 end of shift and no time to meet with the committee man , so today I get to meet with him….I do believe tho, that my performance last week was low because of the l/2 day off and not picking parts the whole shift….we will see. And for the disrupting others, 2 of the co-workers already told the committee man i did no harm and that I was just commenting and they were not interupted…we will see

Like I said …WHAT A DAY!!!!! I love my job…Thank you General/Government Motors!!!!!

I’M HOPING FOR THE “SOUTH” …..SOON??? …2 YEARS??? SOUNDS MUCH BETTER THAN 10!!!!!

GOT TO GO ..GET READY FOR THAT GREAT JOB AND BEFORE THAT TO BARNES AND NOBLE…NEED OR WANT TO READ THE NEW BOOK OUT TODAY…AMERICAN ON PURPOSE…CRAIG FERGUSONL….WILL LET YOU KNOW WHAT I THINK…I DO LIKE THE GUY AND HIS LATE LATE NIGHT SHOW…..

So here are my results… of my Thursday at home…

Three Double Batches of Zucchini Bread and One Pumpkin Pie !!!!

The Bread….two batches I decided to add a little “chocolate”  as in Choc. Chips…The  bread will taste even better come December and I decide to pull a loaf out of the freezer….and the pie…was delicious warm…last night…I think it will be my lunch today…Friday, with a little whip cream???

Okay then outside I went this Morning and found this ….

Butternut Squash...wilting away??? And the Zucchini??? one and it rotted!!!! Have enough Zucchini from others anyway!!!

Then those Peppers....They just dont want to grow...but we do have a blossum and one!!!! And Styx did pick a "Banana Pepper" !!!! One that is!!

Tomatoes ...doing the BEST!!! See the basket full !!! I need a Good Salsa Recipe

So all in all I had a pretty good/productive day off , along with getting this garden harvested…tomatoes…oh yeah the pickles/cucumbers…they are coming along, a good 5 – 10 cukes, but not ready to be picked…they better not rot!!!  And the watermelon in the back…not so good …the tomato hovered over it tooooo much and didnt get all the sun it needed….

 Off to work…I think…unless I get the urge to ask for another vacation day…1/2 day???Vikings play tonight with that Farve guy!!!!
